How it is made
Edge-grain construction means the growth rings run vertically through the board — this orientation is harder, more stable, and more resistant to knife marks than face-grain alternatives. The juice groove is machined to a consistent depth and radius all the way around. Tung oil penetrates deeply into Maple's dense fiber, curing to a hard, food-safe surface that improves with each re-oiling.
Care instructions
Hand-wash only. Dry upright. Re-oil with food-safe tung oil when the surface looks dry or after heavy use. Occasional light sanding (220 grit) followed by re-oiling will restore any surface that has been heavily used.
