How it is made
This tray begins as a single slab of American Black Walnut, sourced from sustainably managed forests. Each piece is run through our Shapeoko Pro 5 CNC router, where handles are carved to exact tolerances that no hand tool can reliably replicate. After machining, we hand-sand through five grits to open the grain, then apply multiple coats of food-safe mineral oil and beeswax. The result is a surface that deepens in beauty each time it is used.
Care instructions
Hand-wash with mild soap and warm water. Dry immediately. Re-oil with food-safe mineral oil every few months or when the wood appears dry. Do not soak or place in the dishwasher. Keep away from prolonged direct sunlight.
