How it is made
This piece exists because of what CNC routing can do that carving by hand cannot easily replicate — geometric forms with absolute consistency across dozens of facets. The relief pattern is modeled in Blender, converted to toolpaths, and cut in multiple passes at varying depths to create the final composition. Danish oil brings out the full depth of walnut's chocolate and violet undertones. No stain, no tinting — the color is the wood itself.
Care instructions
Dust occasionally with a soft cloth. Avoid direct sunlight for prolonged periods as it will gradually lighten the walnut. If the surface appears dry after years of hanging, apply a thin coat of paste wax and buff to a soft sheen.
